Courtyard by Marriott Houma

Always a pleasure to stay here. Leigh at the front desk is especially helpful and kind. Starbucks inside hotel is especially convenient and staff here not only make a great cup of coffee but do so with a smile.

The amenities were very nice. We enjoyed the indoors pool. Had dinner/snacks from the bar. The food was very good. The rooms were nice, but the mattresses were a little too firm. The best part about this hotel were the friendly staff. We had breakfast from the café and the staff were so incredibly friendly and helpful.

Clean and well maintained nice pool area with hot tub, spacious rooms and nice bat area easy to navigate to local areas and friendly staff, my only issue was no coffee in the lobby without buying a 5$ cup of Starbucks

The hotel was perfect. Stayed 2 days. It was amazing. Clean and inviting. This place is awesome. The Sales Coordinator was accommodating to my needs, professional and pleasant. The bartender "Tesla" ROCKED just like the band. She was amazing. She lifted my spirits.

We stay at this facility or at least attempt to stay if rooms are available at least twice per year for a near by convention. The staff is always friendly. But I would like to give a special shout out to one employee in particular, her name is Leigh. She went over and beyond to accommodate our needs. She is very courteous and understanding of the needs of the guest at your facility. When I was told previously that there were no rooms available, Leigh was able to find a way to accommodate.us with patience and genuine concern. The rooms could use some updating, however the location and lobby as well other amenities serve us well. We look forward to more stays at this hotel.

We stayed here as a family near the holidays for a week of personnel time off to see family. Hotel is clean, and staff is very friendly. Leigh was very friendly and extremely helpful during the stay as well. There was an issue where another guest microwaved something that was not microwave safe, and he set the alarm in his room off. Leigh handled the issue professionally, and she did a great job comforting other guests as well.

Overall decent room. Wish it was cleaned better. There is so much dust on the walls above the bed. Towels are also worn out, scratchy quality. Thin walls (can hear kids crying next to my room). Quiet area so at least no street noise coming into the room. Front lobby is nice & clean. Easy to find parking. Overall would recommend staying here.

I visited this property last week and, while my previous stays have always been trouble-free, this visit fell short. The water pressure and hot water temperature were well below the standard I’ve come to expect. Given how often I stay here without issue, I’m hopeful this was only a temporary problem.
